Sin sabor

Carrying my grief
Like a curse,
Aimlessly I went.
Seeking to forget
The fire of that love,
That I implored you.
And there in the loneliness
Of cruel helplessness,
Trying to forget you, I remembered;
With feverish anxiety
Of the day I gave you,
My whole being.
And seeing the reality
Of all your cruelty,
I cursed.
The light of your gaze
In which I was dazzled,
Carried away in my anxiety to love.
 
Kisses impregnated with bitterness
I had from your mouth in its coldness,
Your soul did not feel my faithful tenderness
And offered me with its rigor, malice.
I want to dissipate all my sorrow
I seek to soothe my displeasure,
I feel unbearable this chain
That I girded myself to implore your love.
