Daniela Barria and Julian Vilardo – Mentías

My eyes engraved you in my mind You came down from the mind to the heart, The flower of the heart opened in beats Beats that cradled our love! Love that blossomed with your kisses Your kisses covered up betrayal, Betrayal that earned me the cross of weeping And the weeping through my eyes threw you! You were lying...! With caresses... studied... Cynicism...! Of disloyal affection... You swore By your god and your mother... See if it's not criminal! The beings Who have killed and are redeemed, Deserve oblivion and forgiveness... A hundred lives Will not be able to erase your crime To murder the illusion! And now that my life is empty Anchored in a silence without pain, Knocks the knocker of your memory The doors of my poor heart... It's too late to unite broken idylls Let's look the truth face to face, Don't come back to haunt my affection. That the dream that went away, does not return again!
