30 September 2009: UNESCO inscribes tango as world heritage

On 30 September 2009, meeting in Abu Dhabi, UNESCO inscribed tango on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Argentina and Uruguay asked for it together. Since then tango belongs to everyone who dances it.
