Lyrics
English translation
In the neighborhood of La Mondiola you're the biggest frog and they call you Garufa because you're so cool; you have more pretensions than a bataclana who would have made success with a gotán. During the week, you work hard, and on Saturday night you're a doctor: you put on your leggings and your stiff collar and you come to the center as a breaker. You're fun! you're so much fun! Garufa, you're already a hopeless case; your old lady says you are a bandit because she knew you were seen the other night in the Japanese Park. You fall into the milonga as soon as it starts and you are for the mines the vareador; you are able to dance the Marseillaise, the March to Garibaldi and The Troubadour. With a coffee with milk and an ensaimada you finish off that night of bacchanal and when you return home, in the wee hours of the morning, you say: 'I am a phenomenal frog'.
