“Milonga del recuerdo”. Ariadna Naveira and Fernando Sanchez.

What I would give to be young and live those days That went away and can never come back, Those happy years of the holidays spent In the courtyard of the house where I was born. Where is the little girl, that bride that I kissed? With trembling lips aflame with passion, The one I loved so much and I've always remembered. Because she was the first love that the heart never forgets. Where are the hearts Of the beautiful girl? Where are the illusions of that time that went away? My old lost joy Today you are forgotten, And I who loved you so much I will always remember you. The milongas of my neighborhood to the moaning of bandoneons Between melodious notes of some tango compadrón, The sentimental pebetas impregnated with illusions Who laughed and sang to the influence of a love. You can't see the young people by the light of the lanterns Commenting at night the idylls of the place, Nor do we hear the chords of the sweet serenades That filled us with emotions and made us dream.
