Where will you be, sweet bride who was Owner of my tenderness, Today as yesterday you are you My only ray of light. Today as yesterday I feel your passion burning Inside my heart, Nothing has changed, everything is the same It's only you who's gone. I have nothing to reproach you for Because you were good to me, You mustn't reproach me Because without wanting to I lost you, As we both wept As we said goodbye. You are the first bride That the heart never forgets, I was the first caress That your sweet hands pressed, And today, if the emotion of my song Reaches you, you will understand That I am always the one I was yesterday.
