I saw you pass by yesterday, in your white dress Radiant as the April sun of a warm midday, While on your face the blush bloomed Like that afternoon when I spoke to you of love. I saw you pass by yesterday, beautiful as never before I wanted to run after you, to tell you all my joy, But that chimera Touched the fibers Of my fantasy, Fainted defeated By the sad hours Of reality. Afraid, I was afraid Afraid, of opening my wound, And as never before in my life I felt like crying. I wanted to cry out to you: Come back! Come back, you are mine, But a hidden voice Said to me: "Let her pass".
